(ii) Each family sacrificed a lamb.

(iii) None of the bones of the lamb were broken.

(v) Special food was taken including unleavened bread.

(vi) Fresh grape juice was taken along with the Passover lamb.

(vii) The Passover meal was eaten while standing to remind them of the hurry in which they left Egypt.

(viii) Bitter tasting herbs were taken to remind the people of the bitterness of slavery in Egypt.

(ix) The leg bone of the roasted lamb was put on a clay plate as a reminder of the lamb that was offered.

(x) Prayers were said to thank God for His love for the Israelites.

(xi) The scripture from the Exodus story were read.

(xii) The youngest son of the family asked the meaning of the occasion.

(xiii) The head of the family explained to those present the events of the Exodus leading to Israel's liberation from slavery.
