(i) Formulation of objectives that will be addressed by research.

(ii) Determine/ select methods/ tools for analyzing each question.

(iii) Phrasing questions/ wording sentence using clear/ simple language that will allow the respondents to understand with ease.

(iv) Avoid ambiguity/ use of leading questions.

(v) All courteous language/ avoid use of emotion evoking questions.

(vi) Questions should start from simple and move into a sequence of complexity.

(vii) Avoid double barreled items that are likely to attract two different answers at once.
