(ii) He would destroy Jerusalem with fire contrary to the beliefs and expectations of the people.

(iii) The people would be taken into exile and Judah would remain without inhabitants.

(iv) Judgement would be preceded by lack of peace, terror, starvation and earthquakes.
Judgement was inevitable.

(v) Judah would be severely attacked by her enemies from all directions.

(vi) Bones of the leaders would be exhumed and spread on the ground as a sign of humiliation.

(vii) The attack would leave many corpses unburied and others would be eaten by vultures and beasts.

(viii) There would be drought which would bring suffering to human beings and animals.

(ix) Not even fasting and offering of sacrifices nor intervention by righteous servants of God would alter the impending punishments.

(x) Apart from destroying Judah, God would use Babylon to also destroy other nations for disobedience by killing their leaders.

(xi) After 70 years of captivity, God would punish the Babylonians who oppressed His people, Judah.
