-Organically formed sedimentary rocks. Sediments are derived from million of dead organism and
plant remains which are laid down in layer son land or in water.
-Chemically formed sedimentary rocks Sediments are derived from precipitation of minerals in
areas that experience high temperatures. These sediments are laid down in layers and compacted
to form rocks.
