Vihiga Teachers Training College (VTTC) a Primary Teachers Training College was
ranked number one in Vihiga County and third in Western and Nyanza province
under private category (2011).
VTTC registered by the Ministry of Education, Reg No.P/TC/3/758/12, invites
applicants for the following courses:
• Primary Teachers Course for PI(September 2012 Intake)
• Diploma in Teacher Education(DTE)(January 2013 Intake)
• Certificate & Diploma in Early Childhood Education(September 2012 Intake)

Entry Requirements

PI: KCSE, C plain and above (The course duration is two years)
Certificate in ECD: D+ at KCSE OR D or D- and must sit for KNEC Proficiency
Exam (1 year-Full time)
Diploma in ECD: KCSE, C plain or Certificate in ECD or P1. (15 Months-Full
Time)
Diploma in Education in Arts & Science: KCSE C+ and above, C+ in the
subject of specialization+ in English+ in Mathematics.

1. Original and 3 copies of your Academic Certificates, National Identification plus 3 passport size photographs (recently taken)
