About University of Eastern Africa, Baraton

This university is located in Nandi District, about 50 km of Eldoret-Kisumu road.
The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, is a fully accredited institution of higher learning accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association of the Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities, and was chartered by the Government of the Republic of Kenya on March 28, 1991. It is additionally a member of the Commonwealth Association of Universities, and the Inter-University Council for East Africa.

The university has five schools namely:
1. School of Science and Technology
2. School of Humanities
3. School of Business
4. School of Health Sciences
5. School of Education

Additionally, the university has the following extension centers.
