About Sensei Institute of Technology SiT

The college is located about 7 km from Nakuru town, along Nakuru-Nairobi Road in Barnabas Centre.
This institute offers programs in the following areas:
(i)Plant/Heavy Equipment Operator Training
(ii)Construction Training
(iii)Safety Training

The institution's mission is to develop a strong pool of specialized practical skills in
the construction industry which match industry’s immediate and long term demands.

In addition to certificate courses, Sensei Institute of Technology offers the following short courses. Each of the courses take one day to complete:
1. Tendering - Equips students with basic skills in the tendering process.
2. Road construction techniques - This course involves the processes and activities carried out before and in the process of road construction. They include site planning, setting out, grading, compacting and leveling among others.
3. Road construction terminologies - Equips students with the necessary information as it pertains terms used in road construction process.
4. Bills of quantities.
5. Business management for a road construction firm - Gives learner basic managerial skills needed in road construction.
6. Financial management for road construction companies - Provided the basic financial management skills to those already working or wishing to work in road construction companies.
