Entry requirements
- Applicants are required to have scored
a C+ in KCSE with a C in maths,English or kiswahili,physics or
physical sciences or
be in possession of a KACE certificate,with two principal
passes,one of which be in maths or physics and a subsidiary pass
with a credit pass in physics at O level or
be in possession of a A Pre – University qualification with a Credit pass from an institution recognized by the University Senate or
division II in KCE or
hold a diploma from a recognized institution with at least a pass or
IGCSE – 5 upper level passes or
Bridging Certificate in Mathematics/ Physics or English or both, with a Credit pass, recognized by the University Senate or
a 12th grade – GPA of 2.5 or
GCE – 5 ‘O’ level passes with C and above and/or principal C at A level
Applicants are required to bring the items below:
(i)Non refundable application fee of Kshs. 1,000/=
(ii)Complete and signed application
(iii)Originals and a copy of certificate
(iv)Three recent passport size photographs
(v)Copy of National ID card or Birth Certificate


Period of study
- The program takes three years

Mode of study:
-Part time and full time

Intakes take place in January, may and September

Program application
- Graduates can serve as programmers,web designers,
system Analysts,database specialists,software engineers and
interface designers.

Admission requirements
- Applicants must hold any one of
the qualifications below:
(a)A minimum of C+ in KCSE with C
in each of the following subjects:
(i)Physics or physical sciences
(ii)Maths
(iii)Kiswahili or English

(b)At least two principal passes
and a subsidiary pass at KACE and
a credit pass in physics at 'O' level

(c)A pre-university qualification with
a credit pass from a reputable institution.

(d)A diploma in a relevant field from a recognized
institution with at least a credit pass.

(e)Division II at KCE

(f)A bridging certificate in English or physics/maths
