About Certified Public Accountant(CPA)

The Certified Public Accountants (CPA) examination is for those who wish to qualify and work as Professional Accountants, Auditors, Finance Managers, Tax Managers and Consultants.
The course is examined by KASNEB and consists of three parts each with two sections as detailed below.
1. CPA Part I: Section 1 & 2.
2. CPA Part II: Section 3 & 4.
3. CPA Part III: Section 5 & 6.

Each section takes atleast 6 months to complete.
A student can combine two sections in the same part but not in different parts.
CPA graduates may proceed and pursue Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Commerce and Masters in Arts.

Universities Offering Certified Public Accountant(CPA)

This program is suitable for those students
willing to pursue fields of finance management,accounting,tax
management and accounting.

Program requirements
- Applicants are required to have scored a C+ in KCSE with
a C+ in maths and English or
hold a KACE certificate with at least two principal passes
and credits in maths and English at Kenya Certificate of Education
level or Kenya Accounting Technicians Certificate or the Accounts
Clerk National Certificate or hold a relevant degree from a recognized
institution.Other qualifications may be approved by the kasneb.



The university contacts entrance exam that consists of maths,English and
oral interview.Interview is offered every Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8.00 a.m

Students are required bring the following items:

(b)A copy of the national ID/ Birth Certificate/

(c) IGCSE 6 credits including English and
