Course Entry Requirements
i. The common regulations for admissions into master degree in Kenyatta University shall
apply.
ii. The general regulations for all master degree in the School of Agriculture and Enterprise
Development shall apply.
iii. Holders of a B.Sc degree with at least an upper second class honours in Agriculture, Agricultural Resource Management, Animal Production and Health Management, Agricultural Engineering,, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Agricultural Education, Range Management, Agricultural Economics, Dryland Agriculture or its equivalent from Kenyatta University or other institutions recognized by Kenyatta University Senate.
iv. Those with Second Class (Lower Division) may be considered on condition that they
have Grade C and above in units relevant to their areas of specialization

Course Study Duration: Minimum of 2 years.
Entry Requirements:
(i) First degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources or related disciplines, with an upper second class honours and above or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions, or its equivalent, from Chuka University or any other approved university recognized by the senate OR

(ii) Holder of second class honours (Lower Division) with two years work experience in a relevant field.

Two years
DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN DRYLAND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

-Holders of a Master of Science degree in agricultural related disciplines, biological sciences, environmental sciences or in natural resource management or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by senate.

-Holders of Masters degree in relevant social sciences recommended by the faculty board and approved by the senate.
