MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT:
A candidate must be a
•Holder of KCSE certificate with an aggregate of C+ and a minimum of C in mathematics and English or Kiswahili.
•Be a holder of KCE division two with a credit pass in English or Kiswahili
•Be a holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and subsidiary pass in general paper. Or
•Be a holder of diploma in community development / development studies with a minimum of credit pass from JKUAT or from a recognized institution by the university senate.

PROGRAM DURATION:
This course is offered in eight academic semesters organized in four academic years.
Entry requirements
(i) A minimum of C+ at KCSE with C in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili OR

(ii) KCE division two with a credit pass in English or Kiswahili. OR

(iii) KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and subsidiary pass in general paper.OR

(iv) A diploma in Development Studies or Community Development from an institution recognized by JKUAT with a credit pass.
