Minimum Course Admission Requirements:
Those seeking admission to this course should meet the following entry requirements

1. KCSE mean grade of C+ with a minimum of C+ in Chemistry or Physical science, Physics or Mathematics, Biology or Biological Sciences, English or Kiswahili
OR
2. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution approved by the University Senate.
OR
3. Degree in Medical Sciences: A minimum ‘O’ level division II or C+ Mean grade and a credit pass C+ in the cluster subjects in K.C.S.E in addition to a credit pass in the subsequent professional qualifications from a recognized medical training institution.
OR
4. At least 2 principle pass in Biology, Chemistry and a subsidiary pass in either Mathematics or Physical sciences at the advance level or its equivalent
Program requirements
- Students must have scored
a minimum of B- in KCSE.They
must have passed also in the
subjects below with the grades
indicated:
(a)B- in physics or maths
(b)B- in chemistry
(c)B- in biology
(d)B- in English or kiswahili

Applicants holding Advanced level certificate must
have scored a minimum of two principal passes in
biology and chemistry and a subsidiary pass in physics or maths.

Admission will also be granted to applicants who have scored
a minimum of C in KCSE plus a diploma in Clinical Medicine
and Surgery with a credit.

Clinical Officers holding a Higher National Diploma in
a related discipline are eligible for admission.

one must possess any of the qualifications

(a)C+ in KCSE with C+ in each of the subjects
below:
(i)Maths/physics
(ii)Biology/biological sciences
(iii)Chemistry/physical sciences
(iv)English/kiswahili

(b)A diploma or higher national
diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from
a reputable institution.

Entry requirements
(i) Students applying for this program must have attained a C+ in KCSE with a C+ in biology,chemistry,maths or physics or
(ii) Hold a KACE certificate with two principal passes and a credit pass in chemistry/biology,chemistry or physics or
(iii) Hold a relevant diploma from a recognized institution or
(iv) Hold any other qualifications recognized by the university senate
