Admission requirements
(i) Be a holder of Master’s Degree of University of Eldoret in any of the following disciplines;
Life science, physical science, Social science, Law, Engineering, Humanities and allied
disciplines.

(ii) Be a holder of Masters Degree from a recognized institution as equivalent to the status of
qualifications in (i) above; OR

(iii) Be a holder of Masters Qualifications considered by senate as equivalent to a Masters degree
in the disciplines outlined in (i) above.

iv. In addition to producing evidence of eligibility for registration, Candidates for the D. Phil
Programme shall normally be required to appear for interview by the school of environmental
Studies to determine their suitability for registration.
