The atonement offering. It was made when one had sinned against God or his fellow human being and wanted forgiveness.

Gift offering. These were the best animal or grains that God had blessed one with that were offered to Him as thanksgiving.

Incense offering. It was composed of sweet smelling herbs burnt before God as a sign of His holiness and acceptance of the sacrifice.
