the five men working 10hrs a day work for 2 days which is equivalent to 20 hours. i.e:
10hrs*2=20
therefore: if 5 men take 20hrs to cultivate an acre, for 2 men it will be:
(5/2)*20=50hrs. it will take 50hrs for 2 men to complete 1 acre. hence what about 3 acres?
for 3 acres it will be as follows:
(3/1)*50hrs=150hrs
150hrs is equivalent to 25 working days since they work for 6hrs a day. that is: (150/6)=25days
