(iii) To appeal to missionaries and philanthropists in Britain to protect Africans from exploitation and European aggression.

(iv) To unite all people of the African descent thus creating a forum through which they could protest against European aggression against them.

(v) To form a movement to fight for African rights and promote their economic interests both in and out of Africa.

(vi) To appeal for an end to European colonization and exploitation in Africa.
