Gender discrimination is brought about by superiority complex. One sex (either male or female) perceives itself better than the other. The superior perceived gender suppresses the other gender almost in all aspects. Gender inequality on the other hand is based on unequal distribution of opportunities, resources and also right's amongst the two sex. For example, allocating more opportunities for the boys in the learning institutions and giving less opportunities to the girls is a form of gender inequality.
