Outline the steps to be followed when measuring humidity using a hygrometer.

(i) Read and record temperature of the wet bulb thermometer.

(ii) Read and record the temperature of the dry bulb thermometer.

(iii) Calculate the difference in temperature readings between the wet and dry thermometers.

Use the conversion scale to determine the humidity or interpret the temperature differences.

Alternatively,you can use the procedure below:
(i) Set the pointer at the 0 mark on the scale

(ii) The instrument is left for sometime.

(iii) Readings are made or recorded at the point where the pointer stops moving.
