
(a)Identifiable patterns of answers (e.g A.A.B.B.This can make the learners to cleverly guess the a answers and thus affect validity
(b)Length of the test-a test should be sufficient of items to measure what is supposed to measure.If a test is too short to provide representative sample of the performance that is to be measured , validity will be suffer accordingly.
(c)Ambiquity-ambiquity in statements in the test items leads to misinterpretation and confusion thus lowering the validity of the test.
d) Directions of the test items-directions that are not clearly stated as to how the students respond to the items and record their answers will tend to lessen the validity of the test items.
(e)Improper arrangement of items-items in the test should be arranged in order of difficulty with easiest items first.If the difficult items are placed first in the test,it may make Learners spend too much of their time on these and fail to reach other items which they could answer quickly.
(f) Reading vocabulary and sentence structure- vocabulary and sentence structure that do not match the level of the learners may result to misunderstanding of the test by the learners.
