i)Fence line feed trough which is either shaded or not shaded.
ii)Self feeding from a silage clamp.
-Bull pen with a service stall.
-Calving pens.
-Calf accommodation.
-Milking Center should be consider taking into account the following;
a)Milking shed or parlor.
b)Collecting yard (part of the exercise yard).
c)Dairy including milk store.
d)Motor room.
-Young stock accommodation which is a yard with paved shade and feed area.
-Bulk feed store mainly to accommodate hay and silage.
-Resting area for cows shoul include:
i.Paved shade.
ii.Deep bedding in an open sided barn.
iii.Free-stalls in an open sided barn.
-Waste store:
a).Slurry storage
b).Separate storage of solids and effluents.
-Office and staff facilities for proper farm management and administration.
-Veterinary facilities:
1.Diversion pen with Artificial Insemination stalls.
2.Isolation pen.
-Concentrate feed store.
