a. Lending – books are borrowed for specific period for using in the library. They are usually
issued at the circulation section or issue desk.
b. Reservation – books which are not available in the shelves having been borrowed by other
users can be reserved on request.
c. Photocopying – available at a fee.
d. Internet services – users can search for information while in the library.
e. Inter library loan – books which are not available in the library can be borrowed for users from
other libraries through which a library borrows materials from another library on behalf of the
users upon request. It helps to secure materials which users need and are not in a particular
library.
