i) Demand on the child - if too much demand is put on the child too soon.., the child may develop shame/ doubt
ii) parenting - too strict/ too permissive may result to doubt/ reluctance/ avoidance.
iii) Ridicule/ criticism - will prevent or bar any attempts by the child
iv) Freedom to do what they want - letting children do what they feel they know/ capable of will result to fear/ slow mastery of the environment/ learning.
v) Limited room for maneuver - Restricted power to engage in other activities inhibits ability to be independent/ a child may resolve to some form obsessive behaviour.
