i) Stay stitching-This is a line of regular stitching done on bias or across edges to prevent the edges from stretching out of shape.
ii) Under stitching-This is a line of regular stitche that is done over the Right sides of a facing to the seam line through more thickness of fabric to prevent the facing from slipping to the right side of the garment.
iii) Top stitching- This is a line of regular stitches worked by hand or machine close to the finished edge on a garment mainly for decoration.
