A girl looks into a plane mirror 3 m in front of her and sees the image of the wall which is 2.5 m behind her. What is the difference between the girl’s eyes and the image of the wall?

Total distance between object O (wall) and mirror is (2.5 + 3)m = 5.5 m
Object distance = image distance
Hence distance from eye of the girl
= 5.5. + 3
= 8.5 m
