1. Structural observation – this is where observation is restricted to study without considering other peripherals occurrence.
2.Unstructured observation – The investigator makes observation with a lot of flexibility without being restricted to only what is considered as significant.
3.Participant observation – the researcher behaves as part of the group being investigated to avoid any suspicion of the investigation he/she is carrying.
4.Non – participant observation – the research remains aloof and keep the observation as inconspicuous as possible
