Going out once in a while is fun. While you get to meet alot of new people and socialize, many of us forget the aspect of safety. We should never ignore the presence of bad people who are up to no good as they are aplenty.Instead, let us learn to take measures that ensure we have fun without regret or danger.

.Have company.A person you trust is in order.A friend, brother or sister will always look out for you even if you get very drunk.Without them, you may end up in the wrong hands.

.Drink moderately. We all know that alcohol impedes clear judgement. We should therefore control our appetites for it if we are ever going to make any correct decisions out there.

.Have important people on your speed dial. These are people who are highly concerned about your safety. You should be able to reach them quickly in case of an emergency.

.Have enough money with you. This will make you decline favors from just anyone. It will also help you get what you immediately need. This way you will not have to fall into anybody's arms just because they have what you want.

.Carry minimum stuff.A clutch bag for ladies is in order. You do not need your full make up kit to survive a night.Lighter stuff helps you move around easily without having to keep an eye on anything.

.Move around town in taxis.Walking,in as much as it may be practical and fun, exposes you to a wider range of risks. It never gets too expensive to be safe.

.Always have your drink in your hands. If you leave it on a table for instance,do not drink if you have not kept an eye on it.Chances of spiking are too high to risk.

.Obey your gut. If you feel something is not right,it most probably isn't.Ignoring your gut is a dangerous affair.

.Do not drink and drive.Drunken driving kills.
