Sales: Radios: 20 x sh 1 500 = sh 30 000
Flat iron boxes: 16 x sh 2 500 = sh 40 000
Total sales = 30 000 + 40 000 = sh 70 000
Amount on which commission is paid = 70 000 – 20 000
= sh 50 000

Commission paid =312%of sh 50 000=3.5100×50 000= sh 1 750
Total amount earned = 7 500 + 1 750 = sh 9 250

The correct answer is C (sh 9,250).
