Minimum qualifications
- Admission shall be granted
to holders of any one of the
qualifications below:
(a)A minimum C+ in KCSE
with C in each of the
subjects below:
(i)Biology or biological
sciences
(ii)Physics
(iii)Chemistry or physical sciences
(iv)Maths

(b)KACE qualifications with two principal
passes in science subjects and a credit in
maths at O-level

(c)A diploma in relevant discipline from
any recognized institution.

(d)A degree in any agricultural or business field
from accredited university.

(e)A minimum of C- in KCSE plus a Higher National Diploma in relevant
discipline from a reputable institution.

Course duration
-Four years
Entry requirements:-

Applicants must satisfy the minimum entry requirements for admissions into the University by attaining an average grade of B- in the 8 subjects they offer at KCSE or equivalent examinations.

In addition to one above, applicants must offer passes in the following subject;
-Biology B or Biological Sciences B- Chemistry B- or Physical Science B

An added advantage will be given to applicants who have passed with at least a C grade pass in economics, commerce or Agriculture. Admission may be granted to outstanding diploma holders who have passed with distinction, Credit or their equivalence in farm management, agriculture or other related disciplines from recognized universities or colleges.
Admission requirements.
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE or equivalent with at least C plain in Biology/Biological Sciences, Chemistry/Physical Sciences and any one of the following:
(i) Mathematics.

(ii) Physics or Geography.

(b) KACE or equivalent with at least two Principal passes in Biology and Chemistry and one Subsidiary pass in Mathematics, Physics or Geography. OR

(c) Mean grade C at KCSE and a Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Biological or related sciences with at least a credit pass.

Course duration.
Four years.

A minimum KCSE grade of C+(Plus) with a minimum of C English/Kiswahili, Biology C or Biological Sciences B- Chemistry C or Physical Science B-.
