Course requirements
- To qualify for this program, one must have scored
a C+ in KCSE,with a B- in biological science or biology,
a C- in maths and chemistry or a C- in physical science.
Applicants must have passed in any one subject from the
alternatives below.
(i)Alternative A
C- in physics and a C- in kiswahili/English

(ii)Alternative B
C- in agriculture/geography and a C- kiswahili/English or
be in possession of a KACE certificate with two principal
passes one of which must be biology or
hold a relevant diploma from a recognized institution or
hold a higher diploma with a credit pass in medical microbiology
related subject from a reputable institution or
hold any other relevant qualifications accepted by the senate.
