- Applicants are required to
have scored a C+ in KCSE.In addition,
they must have passed in in
either of the following alternatives:
(a)Alternative A
(i)B+ in maths
(ii)B+ in physics
(iii)B+ in chemistry
(iv)B+ in either geography,biology,or
any group IV subjects

(b) Alternative B
(i)B+ in maths
(ii)A- in physical science
(iii)A- in biological sciences
(iv)B+ in either biology,geography or any group
IV subjects.
Those holding diplomas in engineering fields with
a credit from a reputable institution will be considered
for admission.

Graduation requirements
- To graduate a student shall be required to take and pass all scheduled course within the stipulated period.

- Students interested in this
program must be in possession
of any one of the qualifications
below:
(a)A minimum of B- in KCSE with B mean
grade for the total score in the four
KUCCPS cluster subjects.They must have scored
a minimum of C+ in the following individual cluster
subjects:
(i)Physics
(ii)Maths
(iii)Chemistry
(iv)Geography or biology
(v)Any group IV

(b)K.A.C.E qualification with at least
three principal passes in nine points
and above in each of the subjects below:
(i)Chemistry
(ii)Physics
(iii)Maths
(iv)Biology or Geography

(c)Diploma holders with credit pass in a relevant
field shall be admitted in the second year.
Those holding Higher National Diploma in a relevant
discipline shall be admitted in the third year of study.

- Kshs.203,742 per year

Course duration
- Five years
Agricultural engineering is a part
of agriculture that involves the use
of machinery and other tools in
farming.It also deals with irrigation,
water and soil conservation.

Course requirements
- Applicants must have scored a C+ in KCSE.
Students are also required to have passed in
either of the following alternatives:
(a)B+ in physics,maths chemistry and a B+
in either geography,biology or any group
of technical subjects.
(b) B+ in maths and a B+ either geography or biology or a B+
in technical group of subjects.In this category(b), students
must have scored A- in both biological sciences and physical sciences.
Admissions may also be considered to students holding relevant diplomas
with credit passes from reputable institutions.

Graduation requirements
- Students must have taken and passed all course within the given time.
