Anthropology refers to the
scientific study of human
past and present events.
The practice relies much
on preserved items showing
cultural diversity among
different communities.
Entry requirements
- To qualify,one is
required to hold either
of the qualifications below:
(i)A minimum of a C in KCSE
plus a pre-university certificate with a mean of C+ and above
(ii)A minimum of a C+ in KCSE or its equivalent
(iii)Advanced Diploma in a Relevant field, applicant must have an ordinary diploma from a recognized institution
(iv)Advanced Certificate of Education GCE or A-levels applicants must have at least 2 principal passes and one subsidiary pass or its equivalent and must have passed in subjects related to anthropology
(v)Diploma or professional certificate in a relevant discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate.
Applicants from non-English speaking countries shall be required to pass a special entrance exam set by the university and demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.
Course duration
- The program takes four years
