(i) A holder of a bachelor degree with at least upper second class honors in any discipline or institution recognized by the university senate OR

(ii) A holder of bachelor degree with lower second class honors in any discipline provided the candidate can show proven research ability or 3 years relevant work experience OR

(iii) A holder of bachelor degree at pass level in any discipline at a recognized university and a higher diploma from a relevant field from Kenya examination council or any other institution recognized by the university senate provided the candidate has proven research ability and relevant work experience of five years OR

(iv) A holder of higher diploma in relevant field may be admitted provided the candidate pass prerequisite course units.
