This course is mostly offered at Bandari College.
To pursue this course, you need to be in possession of the following qualifications: valid driving license of class B, C, E.; At least ‘O’ level with a minimum KCSE mean grade of C- or its equivalent. One must be computer literate, must have a working experience of at least three years at the Port as a Reachstacker operator and/or Winch/Crane Operator. One must be physically and medically fit Not more than 40 years of age.

(i) Ship to Shore Gantry Operations.

(ii) Practicals.

(iii) Basic components and their functions.

(iv) Safe Operating Practices.

Successful applicants will be required to come with Personal Protective Equipment (High Visibility Vest/Reflector Jacket, Helmet and Safety Shoes).

Fees: Ksh 220,000 Excludes Insurance

Duration: Fifteen weeks.
