1. Be a holder of KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ and C in English.
Or
2. Be a holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes.
and be a holder of an accredited diploma or Higher Diploma in Criminology, Security Management, Police and or Military Science, Forensics Science and or Psychology, and Computer Forensics with a credit pass that is recognized by the University Senate.
Or
4. Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above.

Entry requirements
Admission to Bachelor’s Degree Programs will be based on the attainment of KCSE mean grade C+, a KNEC diploma or the equivalent of each as recognized by the University Senate and the Commission for University Education. Individual programs may require higher grades, but a C+ overall grade will be the minimum threshold.
It aims at providing an authoritative academic discipline that prepares students to actively pursue careers in the fast-growing criminal justice field. Students will have the capacity to not only understand but also manage the crime problem.
