DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION STUDIES
Duration : 3 years
Admission requirements:
(i) An applicant who qualifies for admission shall be deemed to have satisfied the requirements spelt
out in the Common Regulations for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Nairobi.
(ii) A successful applicant shall register as a doctoral candidate and take the required seminars.
Candidates may embark upon their Thesis Research only after successful completion of the seminar phase of the programme.
(iii) Subject to the approval of the Senate, the programme may require a candidate to attend such a course
