A. 1.) Heterotrophic is a mode of nutrition that involves taking in complex food materials such ad carbohydrates, proteins and fats obtained from bodies of plants and animals while autotrophism is a process whereby some plants manufacture food substance such as carbohydrates from simple substances such as carbon dioxide and water.
2.) Photosynthesis is s process where green plants mainly on leaves make food through the use of light while chemosynthesis is where an organism make food through the use of heat that is energy.

B. 1.) Guard cells: these cells contain chloroplasts and are able to carry out the process of photosynthesis.
2.) Xylem tissues: these tissues helps in conducting water, mineral salts from the roots to the leaf cells.

C. -Have broad flat lamina that provides a large surface area for absorption of carbon dioxide and sunlight.
-Presence of stomata ensures efficient diffusion of carbon dioxide into the leaf.
-The cuticle and epidermis are transparent to allow penetration of light to the palisade cells.
