i) cellulosic and protein fibres - Cellulosic fibres are natural plant fibres made from cellulose a substance that forms the cell walls of plants eg linen and cotton while protein fibres are natural fibres that are sourced from animals eg silk secretions from the silkworm and fleece of merino sheep.

ii) Polyamides and acetate rayon- They are both artificial fibres meaning that they are made from chemicals and other substances. However, polyamides are artificial fibers that are classified as synthetic fibres. Eg. Nylon, polyester, acrylic and elastofobres. While acetate rayon in the second classification of artificial fibers known as regenerated fibres.

iii) Woolen and acrylic fibres- Woolen fibers are natural fibres obtained from the merino sheep . They are easily attacked by moths and can felt or shrink permanently. Acrylic is an artificial fibre under synthetic fibers, it has similar qualities as wool but it is moth proof, and does not felt or shrink
