They are believed to control forces of nature.
They are associated with natural phenomena like insects, animals, rocks, mountains, seas and forests.

(b) Human spirits.
The are categorized as:
(i) Ghost spirits belonging to people who died long ago and whose names cannot be remembered.

(ii) Ancestral spirits belonging to those whose identity is still alive in the memory of the living.
They control the lives of the living.

(c) Divinites.
They are believed to exist between God and spirits.
They represent God's activities on earth.
