Cool hair styles, fashions of the seventies are back with a bang! From our TV presenters to celebrities, fashion conscious women. Long straight hairstyles seem like the in thing lately. The blow drier was invented in the seventies quickly becoming the most popular home appliance. Suddenly women could straighten out their curls or kinky hair, making it long and straight.

Today, using straightening irons and tongs is gaining popularity. If one does not have the hair to straighten out, straight weaves that have become the craze come in handy. The afro, short and shaggy, page boy cut are other hot hairstyles that have attracted many.

The Afro, a representation of black power and pride, is back. The easiest way to have this style is letting natural hair grow without being relaxed. If someone lacks time to grow one, she can have an afro human hair weave stitched to her hair.

Short and shaggy styles include choppy layers, bangs, bob and hair with plenty of definition. For a clue, think Rihanna, the popular american singer with her black layered bob with a bang. If one lacks a healthy head of thick hair, she should have it relaxed then cut into the style she wants. If the hair is scanty, help lies in different human hair and synthetic weaves. Some of these styles are cut slightly longer at the top, shorter at the back.

Shag is one of the hottest look making its comeback from the seventies. It is messy, cute giving a care free look, it gives the desired neat shaggy effect. For a super hot shag, using lots of layers to frame the face and add volume to the hair. Page boy cut has the hair curled inwards on the back, keeping the length up to the neck, doing the same on bangs

and the hair at the sides. Coiling all the hair inwards frames the face. Usually the bangs are fluffed up to give a finishing touch.

Shaggy bob allows one to keep the messy, short look. It is chin length with tapering just at the front. It can be worn flipped up, waved back or straight. It looks great parted over to one side and a little teasing in the back. It looks great on all faces types. For a glam look incorporate all the revolution of the seventies era: big belts, wedge shoes, lots of colours and prints.
