Let's promote nationalism and not tribalism in Kenya

Our country is highly polarized and that is the sad reality.We identify ourselves with our tribes and not as Kenyans. Tribalism exists in Kenya.Tribes should be a reality and not a liability that retards all positive developments.No man is an island.We need each other and this is a good reason why we should co-exist harmoniously.We should be united as a country because;together we stand,divided we fall.

Dear Kenyans,let us be true nationalists.Let us be Kenyans first and avoid retreating to our tribal cocoons.Tribalism has always led us to the drains.It has done us more harm than good.Tribalism has always divided us thus making us weak.It has always ensured we don't move forward as a nation but as individuals.It has caused us untold pain,suffering and misery.

Tribalism has made us fight each other,injure each other,maim each other and even kill each other.We have destroyed the properties of others just because they don't belong to our tribes.Let us build Kenya and not tribes.We have suffered for long because of tribalism.It is time to bite the bullet.We cannot afford to continue conducting business as usual.We cannot continue making the same mistakes that have cost us dearly.It is high time we kick tribalism out of Kenya.We have no option but change for the best interests of our country,lest we perish.It is time to be true nationalists.We should embrace nationalism and not tribalism.Together we can do a lot,divided we can do so little.Let us unite and make Kenya a haven of peace and a prosperous nation.If we unite,we will make our future and our children's future bright and promising.

Fellow Kenyans,let us make this dream come true.Let us join hands in this exciting task of creating a new Kenya.The Kenya you and I have always longed for and worked for.The Kenya you and I would like to leave

to our children.The Kenya we are ready to die for,but better still to live for.That is only possible if we shun tribalism and put the interests of this country first before ours.It is possible and I will play my part towards a Kenya that we will all be proud of.
