Debts rob us of self respect and makes us despise ourselves; grunting, groaning and working on what we have already eaten or consumed. There is nothing that drags a person down like living in debts. When you have that life in practice you hardly stay away from fear and worries. You find yourself thinking hard on how you will get back to your own feet living a life free of fear. Although this habit being a slavish position to get us ill, you will find many people others hardly out of teens running in debts.

A young man will pass through a shop and spot a fancy shirt, his interests will lead him to impulse buying, he may at first have the money and buy the shirt, moving out he spots a matching pair of trousers and having no money left in him, he lends a hand from his friend here leaving him in debt for once. If he succeeds in paying and then gets trusted again, he goes for another under a different need. He then adapts to that habit for life, staying in debts a habit that will keep him in poverty through life. Debts make us work for a dead horse. We run short of money, live in debts but we have nothing to show from our money.

I do not speak of merchants buying and selling on credit or those who buy on credit in order to turn their purchase in to profits. I talk of those people who get in to debts for what to eat, drink or wear and to things that can be avoided. Find many people who engage in habits of getting credit at stores, they will frequently purchase many things which would have been dealt out with.

Money is in some respects like fire;

it is a very excellent servant but a terrible master. When you have it mastering you, when interest is constantly piling up against you, it will keep you down in the worst kind of slavery. Let money work for you and you will have the most devoted servant in the world. It works day and night at both wet and dry seasons when placed at secured interest. Do not let money work against you because if you do, there is no chance for success in life so far as money is concerned. Everybody should avoid running in to debts in all ways possible.
