It is a concern for many businesses about how to be authentic in their marketing. You want positive results but at the same time you want to avoid the hard core marketing approach-Think of hawking sweets in public transport vehicles. I know many people frown at the mention of "hawking", that''s okay if you''ve never done it before. Unfortunately, marketing has for a long time been associated with this-bashing others to make your point.

Your business may be great and you want your customers to know that you are the best. Without creating an image that''s representative of your business or who you are as a person, you may not go very far in your marketing strategy.

The idea of marketing begins with you being really YOU! If you are bold enough, tell them who you are and what you are trying to do and also how you are trying to help them. Your worries of being authentic will soon be gone.

If you want to be authentic in your marketing, just express yourself genuinely in a way that you are being just you. You need to make people fall in love with the idea you want to bring to the table.

You don''t have to really go the hard core way, but again you have to market properly because at the end of the day, you''ve got to bring people to your business. You have to reach out to your customers and pull them to you. Your clients want to see that you are human, that you have flaws or what they call imperfections. They also need to know that you have real problems in your life too, but the most important thing is that you have solutions to their problems.

They also have to see your good qualities that make your products or

services adorable so that they can believe in you and your business. Once they see this, they will want to buy from you. But all this is accomplished with knowledge, strategy, having excellent products and services,and most importantly-being your best authentic self.

You can achieve authenticity in your business and marketing. You just need to discover what being authentic means to you. Talk to your customers and prospects from your heart-When you fake it, they will no it. So stick to being real by giving them the really juicy and good stuff they have always wanted.That way, they will keep coming back and also you win many referrals in the process. They will love you and believe in you. So far, this is the most authentic you can get. They say 10% of people will not like us, but the 90% will like us. Once you get hooked up to the 90%, do your best to stay authentic!
