Technology plays an important role in everyday lives of many people across the world and students have not been left behind. This article shows that technology has done more good than harm to students and other people concerned.

Technology has done a lot regarding improving the learning capabilities of students all over the world and also the teaching abilities of the teachers. Students have turned to the use of laptops in classrooms to follow on what they are being taught and in doing assignments. Teachers use technology to teach the notes they have to students and have gone a step further to enhance the use of technology in learning by having the students have interactive online platforms (Barbara et al. 2001). The platforms can be used by the teachers to post homework and other course-related material, and the students can get an opportunity to ask their teachers questions at whatever time. The study found out that students who were made to use laptops in classrooms were more interactive and good in critical thinking as their communication skills were more polished.
