(a)B- in maths or C+ in maths and B in either
Accounting,Economics,commerce or business studies
Applicants holding A-level qualifications with
two principal passes in maths and economics will be considered for admission.

- The course takes four years

- To graduate a student shall be required to take and pass all scheduled courses within the stipulated period.
Bachelor of arts in economics and statistics is available in
faculty of arts and social science.Resources are always
scarce therefore,there is need to regulate
usage of the ones we have.Economics and statistics program
imparts knowledge to students on how to use these resources to
maximize profits bearing the least input costs.

Course requirements
- Applicants must have scored a C+ in KCSE,with a B-
in maths or a C+ in maths and B in either of the following
subjects:
(i)Accounting
(ii)Economics
(iii)Business studies
(iv)Commerce
Students with two principal passes in maths or economics at A levels will also
be considered for admission.

Graduation requirements
- Applicants must have passed all course provided within the given
duration.

- This program takes a minimum of four years
Those who graduate with this
specialty may serve in areas
where economics and statistics
is applicable.Such places may
include government institutions,
research centres and in private sector.
