following entry requirements:
(a)Advanced Diploma in a Relevant field, applicant must have an ordinary diploma from a recognized institution
(b)A minimum of a C+ in KCSE and above
(c)A minimum of a C in KCSE plus a pre-university certificate with a mean of C+ and above
(d)Diploma or professional certificate in a relevant discipline from a reputable institution
(e)Advanced Certificate of Education GCE or A-levels applicants must have at least two principal passes and one subsidiary pass or its equivalent and must have passed in subjects related to development studies.
Applicants from non-English speaking countries shall be required to pass a special entrance exam set by the university and demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English

KCSE - Mean Grade C+ with C plain in both Mathematics and English or Kiswahili or Mean Grade C or its equivalent with diploma in the relevant area of study from a recognized Institution IGSE - 5 Upper level passes (equivalent to C+) GCE - Five (5) O’ Level (Equivalent to C+) with a pass, C in Maths & English or Kiswahili 12th Grade - GPA of 2.5 KACE - 2 principal passes & a minimum pass of 7 in Maths and English or Kiswahili at KCE
