Course requirements.
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE and at least a C Plain in English and Mathematics or Business Studies or Commerce or Accounting or Economics OR

(b) Two Principles and a Subsidiary Pass at ‘A’ Level plus at least a Pass in Mathematics and English at ‘O’ Level OR

(c) Diploma holders in Business related discipline from recognized institution OR

(d) CPA/CPS part I to III. OR

(e) Higher National Diploma in a relevant discipline with a credit or a distinction.

Holders of qualification (e) above shall be admitted to 3rd year.

(i) (Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE and a C plain in Mathematics and English Language in
KCSE, or at least a D+ in Mathematics and a C (plain) in Commerce, Business Studies, Accounting,
or Economics; OR

(ii) Two principals and one subsidiary pass in Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE)
plus at least pass in Maths and English at ‘O’ level; OR

(iii) Holder of CPA(K),OR

(iv) A diploma or higher diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

For Education (Arts) students who intend to take Economics as a teaching subject must have attained at least B plain in Mathematics and B plain in any of the following subjects: Economics, Accounts or Commerce in KCSE.

(b) KACE or equivalent with at least two Principal passes and one Subsidiary with Credit pass in Mathematics at KCE or equivalent.
