About Home Science Education()

The demand for graduates who have done science subjects in the university has been rising in recent.
This has been necessitated by the technological changes and requirements in many industries.
Those science subjects are chemistry,soil science,physics and biology.
Applicants are therefore introduced to the following units depending on the science discipline that they pursue:
(a)Organic chemistry I and II
(b)Soil Genesis and Geomorphology
(c)Biochemistry
(d)Human physiology
(e)Electricity and magnetism
(f)Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe
(g)Foundations of biology
(h)Human genetics
(i)Ecology
Those who successfully complete the program may serve as science teachers in high schools,or work in the industry where knowledge in biology,physics,soil science and chemistry is applied.
Applicants are therefore required to be holding any of the qualifications below:
(a)A minimum of C+ in KCSE with C+ in science subject of choice.
(b)A diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
