(a)Bachelor's of science degree with
at least an Upper Second Class Honours
in any one of the fields below:
(i)Forestry
(ii)Wildlife Management
(iii)Range Management
(iv)Agricultural Engineering
(v)Agriculture
(vi)Environmental science
(vii)Biological and Natural sciences

(b)Bachelor of science degree in with
Lower Second Honours in any one of the
disciplines above with at least two
years relevant work experience or a
postgraduate diploma in any one of the
fields above

(c)A pass degree in any one of the disciplines
above plus a post-graduate diploma in relevant
discipline or five years work experience.

Admission requirements
(a) Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree with at least an Upper Second Class
Honours or equivalent in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Range
Management, Wildlife Management, Forestry, Environmental Science,
Biological and Natural Sciences from a recognized University; OR,

(b) Bachelors of Science degree as in 1 above with a Lower Second Class Honors
plus at least two years of relevant work experience/ demonstrated research
ability.

Full Time and Part-time (Part-time Intensive - Institution Based, Weekdays, Evenings
and Weekends)

Intake period
January, April, May, August, September and December.
Course requirements
(i) Applicants for the various Masters programmes should have at second Class Honours (Upper
Division) OR its equivalent disciplines from a recognized institution of higher learning OR

(ii) Holders of Second Class Honours Lower Division with 2 years experience.

Full time
Entry Requirements:
First degree in General Agriculture, Soil Science, or related disciplines, with a minimum of second class honours (upper division) or equivalent qualification from from Chuka University.

Course duration
Two years.
