K.C.S.E. Candidates
In addition to satisfying the minimum University requirements of mean grade of C+, the candidates should also offer passes at C+ or above in Biology or Biological Sciences, Physics and Chemistry or Physical Sciences and Mathematics. In order to satisfy the cluster of four subjects, for candidates offering Physical and Biological Sciences the fourth subject may be selected from the following subjects.

8.Drawing and Design

Other Candidates: (for Self-sponsored)

Admission to the degree course may also be granted to the following candidates:
-Holders of KACE with two Principal level passes one of which must be in mathematics
-Holders of diploma from recognized agricultural or veterinary college with passes at credit or distinction.
-Holder of a degree from a recognized University.
-Holder of a Higher National Diploma from a recognized institution.
Admission Requirements:-

Candidates applying for the Bachelor in Agribusiness Management must satisfy the minimum University entrance requirements in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.). In addition to this, all candidates should meet the requirements provided in the Egerton University Statutes. In addition to the above, applicants must offer passes in the following subjects:

i) B in Biology OR B- in Biological Sciences and B+ in Mathematics.

ii) An added advantage will be given to applicants who have passed with at least a C grade pass in economics, commerce or accounting.

iii) Admission may be granted to outstanding diploma holders who have passed with distinction, Credit or equivalent in management, farm management or other discipline recognized by the Egerton University Senate.
