1. circumnavigation- if one flies to the east he/she we come to the same point from the west. this implies that the earth is spherical
2. the shape of earth on moon during lunar eclipse is circular and only spherical objects have circular shadows
3. the sun rises from east always and sets in the west. that means that the earth is rotating from west to east.
4. earths horizon is circular. this means that the earth is spherical
5. all planets are spherical and thus earth being one of them must also be spherical.
6. photographs taken away from earths surface show that earth is spherical.
